Hi, I'm Christian Baker from ChristianBaker.net welcome to The Achieve Podcast, you're listening to the first ever episode.
This is the welcome episode, I've also launched The Achieve Podcast with 2 further episodes, so you can listen & get a flavour of the type of podcast you can expect.
The plan is to release a new episode every Monday and Thursday
The podcast, will be a mix of episodes, including a short solo episode every Monday, where I share mindset, techniques and strategies, and then every Thursday I'll bring you a 30min special guest interviews.... where I interview a variety of guests to share their insights & expertise and their personal success & achievements & all things mindset related ... to help inspire, motivate & encourage you to achieve the life that you want.
Why podcasting - Podcasting has been on my radar to do for some time. I already share content on my blog http://christianbaker.net/blog/ & my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/christianbakertv, and a few years ago I ran and hosted a number of virtual teleconference events, where I interviewed over 60 experts on topics around mindset, weight loss, business, success, personal development, wealth and abundance, and I really enjoy doing them, so I decided to it's time to get back to doing some more interviews and podcasting seems a great fit for doing this. and best if all it's free, you can get access to the episodes on any app or platform that supports podcasting
Simply, I love helping people be the best that they can be and I'm passionate about helping as many people as I can to believe in themselves, to take action, so they can achieve the life that they want.
But there's only one of me and only so many hours in a day, that I can see people for private personal 1-2-1 sessions, so the aim of the Achieve Podcast, is so I can reach, help and positively impact the lives of as many people as I possibly can.
For year I've been telling my personal clients " What your mind believes you will achieve"
If you look in the dictionary, the definition of Achieve - is to successfully bring about, or reach a desired objective, or result, by effort, skill, or courage.
And the aim of this podcast is to share insights, techniques and strategies to help inspire, motivate and encourage you to think differently, to develop your mindset, so you can believe in yourself more, take positive action, so that you can achieve the life that you want. and simply be the best that you can be.
As a consultant Hypnotherapist, mindset and performance coach since 2001, I've helped thousands of clients change their mindset and improve their lives for the better, by helping them stop doing the things they don’t want to be doing... but more importantly start to enjoy and achieve the things that they do.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing people from all over the world, from househusbands to household names, celebrities and personalities, from the worlds of Sport, TV, entertainment & Music and entrepreneurs in the business world.
I've also appeared and had some of my work featured on a variety of radio and TV shows, like the xfactor in the UK, where I was a consultant called upon to help some of the contestants with their performance mindset & confidence.
And although I help with a wide variety of issues, fundamentally I help people to change their mindset, to think differently to believe in themselves!
Because you know Once you change your thinking everything else follows. Your thoughts lead to feelings - feeling lead to actions. So, if you want to achieve anything you need to change and develop your thinking& your mindset.

And I think it's so true...
I often liken it to physical fitness, we can develop and enhance our minds fitness in the same way we can improve our physical fitness, and it’s something that’s ongoing and ever evolving, there's always more we can do to improve.
In the same way as if you decide to get physically fitter, you don’t go to the gym, have a PT session or go for a run once and then that’s it, you have to continually and consistently apply yourself to improve and make progress and your mindset is the same.
So if during any of these episode of the achieve podcast you here and idea or strategy that you have heard before, please don't dismiss it because you already know about it, instead ask yourself if you've ever applied it consistently to your life and if not ask yourself how best you can apply it to your life now.
