Change Your Mindset - Change Your Life

Change Your Mind and Change Your Life!

If you’re not achieving the life and the goals that you want, maybe it’s time to change your mindset!

When you change your mind everything else follows, so coming up in this episode I’m going to share with you how you can simply change your mindset to help you change your life.

I often work with clients who say they know what they should and shouldn’t be doing, or they know what they want, but they don’t seem to be able to do it. This has nothing to do with intellect, desire or motivation, but simply our own BS, our belief system your subconscious programming our mindset.

The good news is, once you are aware of your programming you can change and update your mindset! Think of your mind like the most sophisticated computer around, but it’s only as good as its programming.

Think of the 1st phone or computer you’ve ever used, at the time it was probably brilliant, but now a year, 5, 10, 15 year later, it would be out of date, not right or wrong just out of date, think of your mind in the same way.

Sometimes we find ourselves frustrated simply because we are running to out of date software.

So, is it time to update your programming?

Here are 3 ways you can change your mindset;

1.   Make a decision – be aware of your current mindset, decide what you don’t want, decide what you do want and decide why you want it!

Make these 3 decisions and that will really help you change your mindset.

2.   Train Your Mind – work on your mind fitness. I often ask new clients, particularly Sports Performers, how important mindset is, and they will often say 80-90%, which I think you will agree this is pretty high. But when you ask what they do to develop and work on this, the response is usually nothing! So, don’t leave your mind fitness to chance. Work on your mind fitness, train your mind to think feel and focus on the things that you want, rather than what you don’t want

3.   Re-programme your mind – over time these 2 will help, but if you really want, to help yourself, get some professional help and support, from either a 1:1 Coach/therapist. But you can also help re-programme your mind by investing in courses to help change your mindset, as well as investing your time in reading, listening and watching supportive audios, podcasts and videos, that help develop the mindset you want.

If not, change it, make a commitment to yourself to do something every day to help change your mindset so you can change your life.

Thanks for tuning in, please subscribe and share with anyone you know who may benefit from this.

And remember - What your mind believes you will achieve – so think differently, believe in yourself, take action and you can achieve the life you want!

All the best
